WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist system, network, database administrators, and software engineers in administering and managing networks, database, software, and hosted applications.
- Test all changes to networks, software, databases, and hosted applications.
- Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports.
- Manage Linux and Windows Server platforms with accompanying applications and databases.
- Manage and implement various development, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft, Linux, Tomcat Server, NMS, and NGINX Server.
- Good understanding of Java programming language, versioning tools such as GIT and Jenkins, Docker, Ansible and identifying software-related issues.
- Expertise in deploying and configuring SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Familiarity with switching, routing and networking: OSI Layer, Knowledge of Switches, Routers, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP Suite.
- Willing to work in a 24-7 shift environment.
- Good troubleshooting & problem-solving skills and understanding of complex scenarios and their root cause.
