Mr. Farooq A. Khan brings a wealth of experience, boasting a remarkable career spanning over 28 years within the financial sector. His career includes tenures at renowned institutions such as Faysal Bank, MCB Bank, Eco Trade & Development Bank, and United Bank Limited. Before his appointment at Bank Alfalah as Group Corporate, Investment Banking, and International Business Group, Mr. Farooq held the position of Group Executive-Corporate & Investment Banking Group at United Bank Limited.
Mr. Farooq’s core competencies include building and managing risk asset/ loan portfolios across Corporate and non-corporate segments. He is well-versed in the client and business landscape and maintains relationships with major players in key sectors. He successfully sold transaction banking/ trade finance products captured investment banking mandates and consistently delivered on key budget and performance indicators.
Mr. Farooq has led business on a Regional and Pan-Pakistan basis. He has served as a member of key Management Committees including Board level experience consisting of a representative/ nominee role as Director in a Dairy/ Beverages Company, a large Fertilizer Manufacturing Company, an Asset Management Company, and a Corporate restructuring Company.
