Umar’s extensive experience encompasses various pivotal roles, including serving as a Fund Manager for Mutual Funds and providing advisory services to Corporates and High Net Worth individuals in both local and global markets. His comprehensive knowledge of the Pakistan equities market spans over 9 years at HBL Asset Management, where he served as the Fund Manager for Equities, along with holding other key positions.
In addition to his financial acumen, Umar possesses a deep understanding of digital transformation within the asset management landscape. He has successfully integrated digital technologies and innovative solutions to optimize operational processes, enhance client experiences, and drive overall efficiency. This proficiency was notably demonstrated during his tenure as the Head of the Fund Management department at Gaditek within the Disrupt Group, where he strategically leveraged digital tools for managing portfolios in international Equity, Forex and Crypto markets.
Prior to joining Alfalah Investments, he held the position of Head of Equities at Faysal Funds.
