Muhammad Ayub Khuhro brings over 15 years of extensive experience in the banking and asset management industry to his role as Chief Investment Officer at Alfalah Investments. Prior to joining the company, he served as Chief Investment Officer at Faysal Asset Management Limited (FAML), where he played a pivotal role in revitalizing the investment process, fund management teams, and research department. His strategic initiatives significantly contributed to FAML’s unprecedented growth and its ability to adapt to evolving market dynamics. Mr. Khuhro’s career journey began at Pak Oman AMC in the research division, followed by a role as Research Head in the Equity Capital Markets Division at Faysal Bank Limited. His responsibilities included managing an equity portfolio valued at over USD 80 million and providing comprehensive research insights to support the Investment Committee’s decision-making process. Additionally, he played a key role in IPOs and private equity valuations for the bank. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Mr. Khuhro possesses a deep understanding of equity, fixed income, and money market investments. Faisal Ali Khan is serving as Chief Financial Officer of Alfalah Investments and prior to joining he was associated with Faysal Funds where he served as CFO and Company Secretary. In past he has worked with reputed financial sector organizations including BMA Funds, Saudi Pak Industrial and Agricultural Company (Pvt.) Ltd, Attock Refinery Limited and KPMG. Mr. Khan is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan having a professional experience of over nineteen years ranging from financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting and taxation to corporate and secretarial practices including 15 years of experience in the asset management and investment advisory industry.

Mr. Qureshi has recently joined Alfalah Investments and is leading the organizational strategy function while supervising Human Resources, Administration and Marketing departments. Additionally, he is responsible for formulating and executing sales and business development strategies as well as alignment of functional strategies & plans with company’s short and long-term objectives. Mr. Qureshi brings to the team over 20 years of asset management and financial services industry experience in the fields of strategy formulation execution, sales and business development, product structuring, marketing, investment advisory and human resource management. His last association was with Faysal Funds as Head of Strategy and HR. Previously, he also worked for prestigious institutions such as NBP Funds, UBL Funds, PICIC AMC, JSIL and IGI Fund Select among a few others. He holds an MBA in Marketing from IBA and has acquired various trainings in leadership, team management, problem solving, time management and communication. He is also certified for Mutual Funds Distribution and Capital Markets from IFMP.

Mr. Malik is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Markets, demonstrating a strong aptitude for strategic planning, leadership, and governance. Mr. Alvi has 20 years of broad experience in data-driven strategy and planning, impact investing, research analytics, investment and risk management. His last association was with Aga Khan Foundation (AKFED – Pakistan) as Chief Strategy Officer to oversee strategic planning for country-wide impact investment initiatives to establish financially sustainable businesses along ESG principles, and provide research-driven insights to the global leadership. Previously, he worked for UBL Fund Managers in multiple roles as CIO, Head of Strategy & Products, Head of Risk Management and Head of Research. Mr. Alvi has a BSc in Computer Engineering from Cornell University, College of Engineering, Ithaca NY.

Mr. Ali, currently overseeing the REIT portfolio at Alfalah Investments, is a trailblazer in Pakistan’s Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) sector. With visionary leadership, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry since its inception, earning him a prominent position in the field. He led the team responsible for the successful launch of South Asia’s first Shariah-Compliant Rental REIT, setting a new benchmark for the industry. Prior to joining Alfalah Investments, he held key positions at Arifhabib Dolmen REIT Management and Faysal Funds, where he contributed significantly to the development of the legal framework for REITs in Pakistan. With over 17 years of experience in a leading conglomerate, Mr. Ali boasts a diverse portfolio encompassing acquisition and divestment, greenfield projects, and infrastructure development. His expertise extends to fundraising and project management, where he has demonstrated exceptional skills in liaising with stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-efficient project delivery.

Mr. Pervez, currently Director Advisory at Alfalah Investments, brings over fifteen years of invaluable experience in Pakistan’s capital markets to his role. With a distinguished reputation for success in foreign sales, fund management, and sell-side equity research, he is recognized as a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Pakistani market. Mr. Pervez’s analytical prowess is well-regarded, with a focus on comprehensive primary research as the cornerstone of his methodology, earning him prestigious awards such as the “Best Strategist for Pakistan” Award. His notable achievements include facilitating Bank of China International’s inclusion in Pakistan’s medium-term note (MTN) program consortium. Previously, Mr. Pervez held pivotal roles at organizations including Faysal Funds and AKD Securities, where his leadership contributed significantly to their success. With an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University, USA, Mr. Pervez’s expertise underscores his impactful contributions to Pakistan’s capital markets.

Mr. Nawaz, serving as Senior Vice President and Business Head of Sales & Channel Management at Alfalah Investments, brings over thirteen years of extensive experience in the Asset Management Industry. Starting his career with BMA Funds, he later transitioned to IGI Funds before joining Alfalah Investments in 2013. During his tenure, Mr. Nawaz has held various positions within the organization, demonstrating versatility and leadership in roles such as Head of Wealth Management and Head of Marketing & Investor Relations. Holding a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Business Studies from Middlesex University, United Kingdom, he is also certified in Mutual Funds sales by the Institute of Capital Markets (ICM) and has completed certifications in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism.

Amir Ibrahim Habib is the Head of Retail Sales. He has over 20 years of experience in the Asset Management Industry with diversified as Equity Trader, Portfolio Manager, SMA Operations, and Corporate and Retail Sales. Amir Ibrahim Habib started his career with Arif Habib Investments and later moved to UBL Funds. Prior to joining Alfalah Investments, he was Vice President at JS Investments. Mr. Habib holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Karachi. He is also certified in ICM for selling Mutual Funds and has also completed CLARITAS certification from CFA Institute.

Nahl Eman Chamdia is Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Alfalah Investments. Prior to that, she was associated with Vellani & Vellani as Senior Associate. In her tenure at Vellani & Vellani she handled variety of Corporate & Commercial litigation cases. Ms. Nahl has over 11 years of experience with reputed law firms such as Fazle Ghani Advocates, Mohsin Tayebaly & Company and Haidermota & Company. Nahl holds a Barrister-at-Law (City University, UK) and L.L.B external degree from University of London.

Mr. Mukhtar is the Head of Risk Management and has remained part of the Board Risk & Investment Committees and has played an instrumental role in the establishment of the Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management & Information Security framework for the organization. He brings with him an experience of over fifteen years in the field of Risk Management in the Mutual Funds Industry. Prior to becoming part of the Alfalah Investments team, he was associated with UBL Funds Ltd in managing their Risk Management Function. Mr. Mukhtar has done his MBA in Finance from Greenwich University and holds a BBA Honors degree. He is also a member of GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals).
